The Soundless Execution
Slaying the murky quiet,
the radiant night gamboled under moon;
tranquil sky lay unpertrubed,
frothy waves rushed to shore too soon.
A couple sauntered silently,
merging together flowing and elegantly;
akin to a love sick spectre, who,
sweeps the valleys soundlessly.
A nightingale crooned in distance,
a delightful sound better than all measures;
the pastoral song flattering,
remarkaby, the solace of lovers
Entwined in souls- they groped languor,
they sought to know;
the gladenss,
of that harmonious madness from their lips that flow.
Then, the gold spear emerged from heaven,
Caught off guard serene darkness;
spilling carnage over wild sea,
leaving the couple engulfed in awe and sadness.
A sudden desperation swept o'er life,
birds rushed in pain, in angst;
evils hiding behind calm, now stood
abominable, tombs of destruction stood erect.
They looked with glistening eyes,
Gleaming with despair, the time hath come of his flight;
The time of her to die again,
A thousand deaths in broad daylight
The Lord in heaven hath sent his wrath,
emitting a sinister beam;
With hope to meet again at night,
The lovers left with an extinguished dream.
She returned to dust and was,
Trampled by a thousand feet;
still warm from his embrace and moist
by tears she cast upon her retreat.
the radiant night gamboled under moon;
tranquil sky lay unpertrubed,
frothy waves rushed to shore too soon.
